Zappos has alerted their customers that their network suffered a security breach.
The company is suggesting that all users should reset their passwords. Zappos said that they have already expired existing user passwords of all the users.
The message sent to customers stated that hackers were able to access user information like customers’ names, e-mail addresses, billing and shipping addresses, phone numbers, and the last four digits of credit card numbers and encrypted passwords.
Complete details about transactions and user credit cards are stored on different servers and they are safe.
The company added that they are shutting down their phone support for the time being and are suggesting that customers use emails to ask their questions.
