Verizon is all set to launch Droid 4 smartphone in a couple of weeks’ time.
And they are now trying to clear up the stock of Droid 3 model as they have lowered the price of this edition to just 99 dollars.
Of course, this price is for a unit with a two year long contract to think before you go for it.
Droid 3 is still on Android Gingerbread edition and it is not clear when it would get the Ice Cream Sandwich update.
Droid 4 is also likely to launch with Android 2.3 but should get Android ICS quicker.
Verizon Droid 4 is based on the Motorola Droid smartphone and as usual would feature a hardware keyboard.
