This reinforces the Company’s commitment to enable customers with high-quality infrastructure services as well as the management and security services to meet their Information and Communications Technology (ICT) outsourcing needs.

Nokia might exit Japanese mobile market next month

Nokia might exit Japanese mobile market next month

Industry sources are reporting that Nokia is close to exiting the mobile phone market in Japan.

The company could make an announcement next month.

Japan is probably the most competitive mobile market in the world. Domestic players dominate the segment though Apple has managed to do extremely well here with their iPhone.

Nokia on the other hand has little to offer to mobile users in Japan which tends to go with local companies like Sony and Sharp.

The company started supplying their phones to Japanese mobile service providers in 2008. Their deal with NTT DoCoMo expires next month and is unlikely to be renewed. The company might continue to offer their Vertu branded smartphones through select retail partners.
