Witnessed over 15% footfalls than last year

Chennai, 11th July, 2017: ‘Security and Fire Expo (SAFE) – South India’ 2017, the three day trade show by UBM India, that also organises of the signature IFSEC India expo, successfully concluded its third edition last week at the Chennai Trade Centre. Chief Guest, Mr. Abhay Kumar Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Chennai, Tamil Nadu; and Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, UBM India, inaugurated the show amidst an august industry gathering. The show held between 29 June – 1st July 2017 this year, is the largest security and fire safety event in the region, bringing together Indian and global suppliers and manufacturers of renowned surveillance, entrance and home automation industry brands along with consultants, business experts and key government officials to congregate, interact, network, see the latest innovations from world’s leading companies, source business solutions and gather invaluable expert support, all under one roof.

SAFE – South India 2017 offered market-entry and business opportunities to industry professionals in the region who view security as a well-planned, prioritized and strategic investment, rather than a knee jerk reaction. The SAFE South India expo came to security professionals at a time when the government showed its commitment to enhance its security budget by as much as 35 per cent, which included creating a dedicated homeland security department, developing co-ordinated intelligence gathering, protecting critical infrastructure and upgrading maritime security.

Chennai, 20th June 2017: UBM India announced the launch of the 4th edition of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) India in Chennai. Slated for the 29th and 30th June 2017 at the Chennai Trade Centre, the expo aims to bring together renowned Indian and International exhibitors, consultants, business experts and key government officials on an industry platform to exchange global best practices and seek solutions for challenges pertaining to workplace safety and health.
