Swype working on enabling support for Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone to launch in the market with the latest version of Android (Ice Cream Sandwich).

It is also the first phone to feature no hardware keys at the bottom. Google has equipped ICS with software keyboards for such phones.

This means that some apps are having issues working on it. Swype is one of them.

The company said in an announcement that they are working on an update that would support Galaxy Nexus.

Swype seems to work fine on devices with hardware keys that are loaded with ICS builds.
