Google has launched the page for registration if you want to place an order for the Galaxy Nexus smartphone on Sprint network in the US market.
Google and Samsung are still not officially offering the unlocked GSM edition. The only version on sale right now is the CDMA version on Verizon.
Sprint of course is also a CDMA service provider.
Amazon and other online stores in the country are offering the unlocked GSM version imported from the European markets. But it is priced pretty high at around USD 650.
Google sold the Nexus One and Nexus S smartphone directly to customers for around USD 530. So Galaxy Nexus is turning out to be an expensive purchase for the customers.
