Samsung reconsidering their plans to not release Android ICS for Galaxy S and Tab

Samsung has said that they are reconsidering their strategies and would now try to bring the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for their older devices Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab.

The company had recently said that the hardware limitations of these devices were making it tough for them to release ICS update with their TouchWiz user interface.

Samsung has been heavily criticized from all angles for this policy considering they can easily remove the TouchWiz component and offer the update as an option.

It is not clear what they aim to do now. It is very unlikely that they would release Android ICS for these two models without their TouchWiz enhancements. Though stranger things have happened in the past.
