Samsung has reportedly said that they are giving up on attempts to release Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for their aging Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab devices.
Samsung was forced to reconsider a similar decision announced a couple of weeks ago. They faced massive criticism online for using hardware specifications as an excuse for not releasing the ICS update for these two devices.
The fact remains Samsung wants to release Android ICS with their own TouchWiz enhancement which is causing all the problems.
Google has already released Android ICS for the Nexus S smartphone which is similar in hardware specifications to the Galaxy S.
