NDTV has reported that Samsung is planning to launch their latest Android smartphone Galaxy S III in the Indian market next month.
The phone is expected to feature an MRP of Rs. 38000. Street price is expected to be around Rs. 34000.
This would put it in direct competition with HTC One X.
We were expecting Galaxy S III to be priced at a premium based on the rumored specifications. Turns out that the specifications are not much different from the One X.
It would be interesting to see if India gets the same edition as the European markets. Samsung has been known to tinker around with the internals for sale in different markets.
