Pinterest might be valued at USD 1.5 billion now!

Wall Street Journal has reported that Pinterest has raised around USD 100 million at a valuation of USD 1.5 billion.

The latest investors in the company are Japanese e-commerce site Rakuten along with Andreessen Horowitz, FirstMark Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners.

The company has not issued a statement related to these new reports.

Pinterest has gained immense popularity in a very short time. The service allows users to pin web pages with focus on images. We have already seen a bunch of clone services mimicking their concept.
