Opera 10.60 beta released

Opera 10.60 beta released

Opera has released the first public beta of their Opera 10.60 edition.

This version has been in testing for a while now through test releases made available to interested Opera fans.

We personally a big fans of Opera at TechWhack and use it alongside Chrome. This release has a minor bug that has not been fixed in this public beta release.

But this is still a very solid update as Opera continues to lead the innovation in the web browser market.

Some of the key new changes:

Searching through the search box has been improved.
Opera now plans to keep releases in sync for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Opera is now finally location-aware.
Opera Speed Dial has been optimized for widescreen displays.
Improved user interface.
Further improvements in the JavaScript engine.
Improved support for HTML5 technologies.
