Nokia did not reveal any details on how well N9 sold in the few markets it was offered in last year.
The company ditched MeeGo last year to switch to Windows Phone. They did launch N9 as their first and last MeeGo based device.
Nokia N9 launch was much appreciated in the tech community who got to see MeeGo for the first time on a consumer device. However, Nokia did not budge from their position and it remains the only MeeGo based device on sale in the market.
The company further messed up the situation by launching N9 in very few markets. It is not on sale some of the biggest markets in the world including India and USA.
Nokia still has not revealed how well this model did. The company sold around 19.6 million devices in the fourth quarter of last year. Windows Phone based devices accounts for around a million of them. Majority of these units are Symbian based which continues to power budget segment smartphones from the company.
