Nokia continues to take strange decisions under the leadership of Stephen Elop.
The company has now decided to exit the mobile payments market by shutting down Nokia Money project.
They have announced the discontinuation of this program in the Indian market.
Around two lakh subscribers in India would be given refunds.
Nokia Money was launched in India back in 2010 through a collaboration with Yes Bank.
The company said that they would continue to keep the service operational for a couple of weeks to let the customers take out their money.
