Google removes new tab page feature from Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer
Google has removed a popular feature from their Google Toolbar application for the Internet Explorer web browser.
The feature provided a Chrome type new tab to the users of the Internet Explorer web browser.
Microsoft asked Google to remove this feature as it disabled access to their own new tab page which promotes Microsoft’s own tools and services.
This feature removal seems to have annoyed a lot of Internet Explorer users. Google is advising them to switch to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome in case they want that functionality back.
