Mozilla has posted a detailed blog post on their plans for the year 2012.
One of the important updates is that they are going to implement silent updates with Firefox 13.
Users would no longer have to see the notifications related to new updates.
They would only be displayed a What’s New message in case there is an important message for them.
Firefox 11 has just added the ability to sync add-ons… This feature has also been available on Google chrome for a while now.
This would make Firefox a bit more like Google Chrome which has featured silent updates since the first public release.
There is a ton more information on the official blog post.
