Spotify was launched around six months ago in the US market and this means that early adopters of this streaming music service would soon have to make a choice.
They would have to live with the limitations of the free account or start paying up for a monthly subscription.
The free account is ad supported and offers 10 hours of music per month. And you can only listen to one track five times.
There are two paid options. USD 5 allows for unlimited music listening. USD 10 adds mobile support.
There are tons of other services available to users in America… RDIO and Pandora are the most popular alternatives. Both of these offer better packages compared to Spotify.
Remains to be seen which of these gains the most from the Spotify’s unfollowers!
