Microsoft Outlook to become a social networking hub
Microsoft is making drastic updates to their Outlook application.
The company aims to make it a social networking hub by integrating networks like Facebook and MySpace in it.
This is done through a new feature called Microsoft Outlook Social Connector.
Microsoft has released a new edition of this product and LinkedIn has announced support for it.
It can be installed on following editions of Outlook:
Microsoft Outlook 2003
Microsoft Outlook 2007
Microsoft Outlook 2010 beta editions
Microsoft said that the connectors for Facebook and MySpace would be available by the time Office 2010 goes on sale.
