Maruti Suzuki India is finally ready with the updated edition of their Swift DZire sedan.
This newer model would be launched early next month. It would be shorter in length compared to the existing model.
Shortening the length has been the focus point about this new edition as it now qualifies for a lower tax rate set by the Indian government.
Maruti however has indicated that the new model would not be cheaper. In fact, it is likely to be priced higher than the current model.
The company said: “We have invested a lot on the new DZire. It is on a brand new platform. There are at least 150 new features compared to the existing DZire and it is unlikely that the new one will be priced lesser.”
