Lenovo is now offering a self-branded mobile internet service named Lenovo Mobile Access in the US market.
This service is being bundled with their own laptops. They are using the platform powered by Macheen.
Users get to connect to internet by subscribing to different packages. Lenovo is charging USD 2 for 30 minutes access, USD 9 for a day. There are also monthly plans available for USD 45 (2GB) and USD 80 (8GB).
The company has sold their laptops with cellular modems inbuilt but users had to subscribe to third party services for internet connectivity. Now they can get similar services right from Lenovo.
