Hyundai’s venture in the Indian market has been one of the most successful ventures for any global company. The company came to India with a totally unrecognized brand and did great for itself. So much so, it is now one of the top automobile manufacturers in the country. People love their Santros and people love their Accents. Hyundai Sonata has been one of the favorites of Indian market as well.
The company has now said that they are gearing up to meet the increasing demand in the Indian market. The company has plans to increase their production capacity during the year to meet the growing demand. These plans were revealed by the Hyundai Motor India President B.V.R. Subbu.
Subbu was speaking to the media personals in Hyderabad during the inauguration of a new showroom in the city. The company had a pretty impressive 2005 with an overall growth of 20 per cent. Hyundai has plans to launch their new car Verna sometime later this year. This model from Hyundai would be placed between their existing cars Accent and Elantra.
