Trend Micro acquires Humyo backup service
Security software makers have been expanding their services portfolio by offering online backup services.
Trend Micro is the latest to enter this market. They have just acquired Humyo which is a provider of such backup services.
Trend Micro said that they would initially target their consumer and small business customers with this new service platform.
Symantec and McAfee are their rivals already offering such online backup products to their customers.
Even Dell bundle their computers with a similar backup service that comes with a free trial period.
