New York Post had made an interesting post about Hulu.
The report claims that Hulu is working with cable operators to implement an authentication system that would require the web user to prove that he pays for cable television before content can be streamed from the service.
The basic idea is to block users who have stopped paying for cable from accessing the service.
It is a rumor currently and is already creating a buzz across the web. A lot of people have disconnected their television connections because of the options available over the internet.
The report added that the system could take a while to implement so no changes are expected in the near future.
