Google is said to be in talks with major retailers in the US market to offer 24 hour delivery to customers using their shopping search engine.
The company is not in the retail market directly but it does offer search services (Google Product Search) that connects the user to thousands of third party retail stores.
Amazon has a major presence in this market through their Amazon Prime program. Amazon charges a fixed fee yearly that offers faster delivery to their customers.
Google also has their Google Offers program that offer deals to users based on their locations. It is not clear how Google aims to benefit from this rumored program that could be launched in the coming months.
