Google is pretty close to completing their Motorola acquisition. And online sources are reporting that the company would announce Dennis Woodside as the new CEO of the company.
He would take over from Sanjay Jha who has headed the Motorola’s mobile division for a couple of years now.
Jha is reportedly getting a solid package as part of his stepping down move. He would be a happy man today considering he fetched an excellent price for the company.
Google is paying close to USD 12.5 billion for Motorola Mobility. The company has admitted that gaining access to Motorola patents is one of the biggest reasons behind this deal.
Google has refused to comment on these rumors. We expect an official announcement in a couple of days’ time.
