Google headhunted Simon Prakash away from Apple!

Google has reportedly hired Simon Prakash away from Apple. This is probably the first time Google has managed to steal a senior guy from the Apple’s management team.

This news is also interesting because of the ongoing investigation involving Google, Apple and some other companies who secretly collaborated on not poaching employees from each other.

Simon Prakash has worked at Apple for more than eight years. He was most recently the senior director of product integrity at the company.

It is not clear what his position at Google would be but analysts believe that he would be involved with secret projects at the company being managed by Sergey Brin. Google is acquiring Motorola Mobility and as a result is getting massive hardware manufacturing resources to create new exciting stuff.
