Google Goggles can now translate text using images from the camera!

Google has launched a new version of their mobile app Google Goggles.

The updated edition gets a major new feature.

It is now connected with Google Translation service.

You can point your camera on text in any language. Select the area you are interested in. It would take a snap of the area and process it.

If Google Translate recognizes the text, you can get the translation in your choice of language!

Google said:

Every new release of Google Goggles contains at least one new feature and a large number of improvements to our existing functionality. In addition to translation, Goggles v1.1 features improved barcode recognition, a larger corpus of artwork, recognition of many more products and logos, an improved user interface, and the ability to initiate visual searches using images in your phone’s photo gallery.
