Google has rolled out a new feature that makes it extremely easy to link your website to the relevant Google Plus Page.
Earlier you had to add a meta tag and wait for the connection to happen automatically.
You can process it faster by adding a link to the homepage of your website. The link code is available from the edit profile section on your Google Plus Page.
Google developer Dennis Troper spoke about this update:
If everything’s set up correctly, you’ll see a confirmation message. Within a day or two, the link between your website and your Google+ page will be active, and a check icon will appear next to your URL on your profile.
Google added that linking benefits you as a web publisher in many ways. Google can connect your Google Plus Page to your site and show it when a web user searches for your brand on Google search.
