Google Chrome Frame is now in beta

Google has announced that they have updated their Chrome Frame application to beta status.

Google Chrome Frame was launched a while ago to enable Internet Explorer to use services that rely heavily on new web technologies. Google Wave is a good example.

Google said that they have focused on fixing stability problems and bugs rather than add new features and functionalities till now.

Google said that the latest version support all the new features supported by Google Chrome 5 stable edition.

The company also highlighted some popular websites that make use of Google Chrome Frame by automatically calling it if available. WordPress, Meebo, YouTube and Google Wave are some popular examples.
