Google continues to work towards enhancing Buzz privacy features

Google Buzz was launched recently but had tons of issues related to user privacy.

Google has been quick on fixing the glitches. They have made some more changes.

Now, if you send a message to a particular user using his/her email id and that user does not have a Google Profile… Buzz would not show the email id on the stream. The email address is replaced with ***.

Google Buzz in its original form revealed the email id of the person to the world.

The reference is changed to a link to the user’s Google Profile if it exists. Just like on Twitter.

This change is good though Google can and probably would do more to offer more privacy options to the users who continue to use Buzz in the coming times.
