No Google Browser or GBrowser planned by the search engine giant
It has been rumored since a long time that the search engine giant Google has been developing a web browser product supposedly called the Google Browser or GBrowser.
The company has yet again denied any such plans as they prepare to face the assault from Microsoft’s MSN division with the Internet Explorer 7 version planned to ship with Windows Vista Operating System.
Vista would ship with integrated search capabilities, which might include some of the tools developed by company’s MSN division. This might see deep integration of Live search engine in IE7 and other aspects of the operating system.
Google has been supporting both Mozilla Firefox and Opera browser and recently started promoting Firefox from their search pages. They also ship Firefox with Google Toolbar in their software package named Google Pack.
Google is currently the dominating search engine player in the US market as it powers almost half of all searches conducted by web users in the region.
