Fiat India has revealed that they are working on plans to have around 20 showrooms dedicated to their branded cars in India by the end of current year.
The company has been selling their cars through Tata Motors showrooms for the last couple of years.
The two companies ended their distribution agreement recently which means that Fiat would have to open their own dealerships in all the major towns.
Fiat has already opened the first of these dealerships in Hyderabad. The Italian automaker continues to struggle in India selling just around 20,000 units per annum.
