Facebook has added a new major feature which is not activated by default.

We believe that Facebook should have enabled it for all of their users automatically.

However, it is a good idea that you spread this information around and ensure that all your Facebook buddies get enhanced security with their Facebook profile.

The setting is named Account Security and it is accessible from Account > Account Settings.

If you use Facebook seriously, turn this setting on.

Once the setting is turned on, Facebook would offer improved security for the logins made using your user name.

The basic idea is that if there is a suspicious login using your ID, Facebook would immediately mail you information related to it.

You would get a quick option to change your account’s password in case you believe that it has been compromised.

So, if you are a serious user of Facebook… This is a good time to enable this new safety setting in your account!
