Facebook set to get on the location game
New York Times has reported that Facebook would add on location related features to their platform sometime next month.
Location aware services are becoming hugely popular online. Twitter has already jumped on it. Other popular services include Foursquare, Gowalla, Google Latitude, Google Buzz, and Loopt.
Facebook users would probably get the ability to update their status messages with their location.
They would also be able to checkout where their friends are provided they have posted their own locations.
The company officially has declined to speak about this report in the media.
