Google adds a web based clipboard to Google Docs
Google has just added an important new functionality to their Google Docs suite.
Google calls it the web clipboard. Sources say that it is internally called CloudBoard.
The basic concept is simple… Google Web Clipboard would enable the users of Google Docs suite to copy/paste content from one file to another.
The data copied from a Google Docs file is saved in a cloud based clipboard and it is made available to other documents.
This also works between different applications within the Google Docs suite. So, you can now make a spreadsheet on Google Spreadsheet and copy it in a presentation being created in Google Presentation.
