Carbon has showcased a preview video of their upcoming Twitter client for the Google Android platform.
The company had a fantastic Twitter client on the webOS platform and now we can expect something similar on the Android ICS devices.

The app is designed with the ICS design guidelines and looks to be pretty smooth even though it is still in alpha development.
The developers are hoping to start a private beta test in the coming weeks. We hope to see it out as a publicly available app in the coming months.
Android does need a good looking and functional Twitter app that features the native design UI. Boid is another one trying to achieve the same goal though the development is in early stages.
I am going to keep my eyes on Carbon. If you are an Android user hooked to Twitter, you should too!
