Google Chrome Canary now offer support for Gamepad API. This means that you can now play games inside the browser using a gamepad like the one that comes with an Xbox gaming console. Logitech units should also work fine.
Graham spoke about the requirements:
– Chrome Canary for Windows (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/chromesxs). Turn “Gamepad” on in about:flags.
– an XInput supporting gamepad (like a wired 360 controller, or recent Logitech gamepads).
– a relatively decent video card because it’s using moderately heavy WebGL shaders. My highend-circa-2007 video card is fine though, so doesn’t have to be super new.
