Germany luxury car manufacturer BMW has finally launched their own used car business in the Indian market.
They announced the launch of BMW Premium Selection program in India today.
The company said that this program alone should form 10% of their total sales in the coming months.
BMW India added: “Till October this year we have sold a total of 8,042 cars in India, accounting for 40 per cent of the luxury car market. With the BMW Premium Selection, we are looking to enhance position. We expect the used car business to be about 10 per cent of new car sales.”
The company said that the customers can expect major discounts on second hand models sold through this division. Do not however expect down to earth pricing.
BMW is going to offer cars that are less than five years old through BMW Premium Selection. Buyers of these cars would get company warranty of 2 years or 2 lakh KM (whichever comes earlier).
