Blueair Pro XL – Extraordinary Powerful Mobile Indoor Air Purifier Debuts in India

· Pro XL is a part of Blueair’s ‘Pro’ series of purifiers unveiled in India.

· “First-of-its-kind research study by a medical university clearly demonstrates health benefits of efficient indoor air purification.” said Vijay Kannan, India Head of Blueair.

Blueair, a premium air purifier company from Sweden, today announced its India debut of Blueair Pro XL – its most powerful mobile indoor air purifier ever. The launch of Pro XL is a part of company’s ‘Pro’ range of air purifiers now being showcased in India. The ‘Pro’ series, which offers extraordinary power from a very slim and sleek new design, is available in three models designed for different room sizes. These are Pro M, Pro L and Pro XL, which have received a warm response from consumers and business users worldwide for their combination of air purifying efficiency and elegant design. With continuously degrading air quality in Indian cities, increasing awareness about air purifiers and rising health consciousness among consumers, Blueair is expecting similar response in the country as well.

Vijay Kannan, India Head of Blueair said, “The launch comes at a favorable moment when a first-of-its-kind study by a medical university clearly demonstrates heart and lung health benefits of efficient indoor air purification. The study also rejected the notion that people could escape indoors to avoid outdoor pollution.” He added, “Our Pro range of purifiers pushes the boundaries of design and technology, for which we have won numerous awards, to deliver users powerful cleaning of large indoor spaces like corporates, hospitals, schools etc. We are honored to bring emerging technologies to the Indian market.”

The Chinese researchers found that closing doors and windows barely reduced health hazardous PM2.5 concentration, while use of an air purifier ‘efficiently reduced’ the amount of the fine particles in the indoor air resulting in improved heart and lung function.

Bengt Rittri, Founder and CEO of Blueair said, “As outdoor air pollution hits outrageously high levels in cities across the world, research confirms Blueair’s contribution towards helping people stay healthy and at optimal immunity in the home and at work regardless of outside or inside air contamination.”Blueair’s flagship PRO XL model is capable of delivering off-the-scale performance to purify the air in large rooms up to 1180 square feet of impurities such as PM2.5 dust particles, chemicals and viruses every 12 minutes. In testing, the Pro XL cleared smoke at 800 cubic feet per minute (cfm), dust at 950 cfm and pollen at 900 cfm. A sleek, premium and eye-catching vertical tower-like design of the purifier adds to the strong performance. Blueair’s indoor air purifiers have won global acclaim and a host of international design awards, including iconic Red Dot Awards handed out by Germany’s Design Zentrum Nordhe in Westfalen, top design & innovation awards at IFA Berlin and Good Design Awards from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

Blueair continues to invest heavily in research and development to ensure they stay a step ahead of the competition. Each new PRO air purifier houses a radical new modular filtration system that uses Blueair’s new patented ‘V’ Shape Hepa filter to deliver a superior CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate). The Pro XL is priced at INR 1,50,000, Pro L at INR 1,10,000 and Pro M at INR 80,000.

Blueair’s filtration technology allows for less dense filters that translate into both lower noise levels and energy consumption. In short, the HEPA SilentTM technology allows Blueair Pro to handle large volumes of air while staying whisper quiet. Additionally, an optional ‘Air Intelligence Module’ automatically adjusts air purification performance depending on the amount of pollutants in the air. Ideal for offices, hospital waiting rooms, hotel lobbies as well as large living spaces, the Pro series is the result of Blueair’s 20 years of exclusive indoor air purifying experience and air cleaning technology knowhow.
