Blackberry to get censored in Indonesia
Research In Motion has already been facing issues in several markets where governments are seeking access to private communications that take place on their network.
They are now facing something new. Indonesian government has threatened that they would be forced to block the Blackberry service in the country if the company does not introduce internet restrictions based on their requirements in the market.
RIM has said that they are going to work on it as fast as possible to comply with the demands made by the government.
Blackberry users might soon find themselves unable to access restricted online content on their smartphones.
RIM confirmed that this is the first time they are being asked (forced) to do so. But it could just be the start.
