Badge Scanner: Google Developer releases an Android app for Mobile World Congress 2012 attendees

Google engineer Trevor Johns has released an Android app named Badge Scanner for the attendees of the ongoing Mobile World Congress.

It is designed to quickly scan the NFC business cards encoded in badges given to the attendees.

The app scans the card and displays the relevant information on the display. User gets an option to add his notes and save the information in a custom Google Contacts group.

The app requires an Android phone running ICS edition with NFC support.
