Aztec Software to expand in Hyderabad
Aztec Software, which is currently based in Bangalore, has revealed plans to expand their business operations in the city of Hyderabad. The company now has plans to invest as much as Rs 50 crore in Hyderabad in the next three-four years. They are also aiming at having a headcount of 1,500 in Hyderabad during the same period. Other plans include establishing a campus in the city.
Companyâ€™s senior vice-president and head of India business Srinivasan Chandrasekar said in a statement on these future plans: â€œAt present, we have a 250-seat centre in Hyderabad but we plan to have 1,500 people on our rolls in the city in the next three-four years. We will be investing Rs 50 crore for this purpose.â€
Chandrasekar also commented on their plans to establish a campus in the city. He said that they have plans to go ahead with it but nothing has been finalized till now. The company has a global presence and employs around 2,000 people globally. They are now aiming at doubling this headcount within the next three-four years.
V Chandrasekaran, chief executive officer and managing director of Aztec Software added his comments: â€œWe have grown by 100 per cent this year and hope to continue with the growth momentum. We will also be adding to our technology offerings by entering the wireless and embedded technologies space.â€
