Google Drive launched today with integration with several third party services.
The biggest mystery is that you need to install these third party services as browser extensions in Chrome.
And then you can add to your Google Drive account. It is not clear why users are being forced to take this route instead of direct connectivity with these apps.
Aviary is one of the apps that support Google Drive already. You can install it from the Chrome Web Store.
Once you have activated it on your Google Drive account, you can start editing your photos right from inside Google Drive!
Google Drive handles the saving of revisions so you can access older versions of file easily.
Aviary integration is pretty funny considering Google already owns Picnik but recently announced that they are going to shut it down for good.
