Amazon.com adds Zoom People Search to A9 search engine
Amazon.com is better known for its online shopping portal. However, the company also has a search engine service called A9. Amazon.com has now said that they are incorporating technology from Zoom People Search in their A9 search engine to offer people searching capabilities to the users of A9.
Zoom People Search would now become the default source for people information on this innovative search engine service. Users would be able to access their database by clicking on “people” box on the A9.com homepage. ZoomInfo specializes in providing summaries describing the person’s work history, education, and accomplishments.
In addition, they also enable the users to keep a track of their own history accessible on the internet. Florian Brody, director of marketing for A9.com said in a statement on this new service integration on the search engine service: “ZoomInfo has collected and organized hundreds of millions of random bits of information about people from across the Web.â€
He added: “This information is useful in lots of different ways, which we are excited to make it available for our users on A9.com.”
