Air Deccan to have the most extensive network in India
The company, which started the budget airline travel revolution in the country, Air Deccan, would soon get the distinction of being the largest network provider in the country. They are soon going to add two more cities Pune and Srinagar to its network on December 6 and this would increase their targeted cities in India to an impressive 46 destinations.
At present, Jet Airways leads the pack with around 44 destinations. Indian Airlines follow it with 41. Alliance Air has 31 destinations to its list and Air Sahara services 24 destinations. Air Deccan started it all around 2.5 years ago and they have been one of the most innovative of the new lot with regular promotional offers for their customers.
As of now, Air Deccan connects 44 cities with close to 180 flights spanning the length and breadth of the country. Managing Director G R Gopinath said in a statement: ”Air Deccan has a vision to provide air connectivity to India. So we connected not just Mumbai and Delhi which accounts for 60 per cent of the flights in the country but also the small airports like Nashik, Vijayawada, Hubli, Belgaum, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Dehradun.â€
Air Deccan currently has a fleet of 22 aircrafts.
