Aston Martin DB 9, V8 Vantage and Vanquish S V12 coming to India
The car James Bond drove in his movies are coming to India! British luxury sports car maker Aston Martin is planning to enter the Indian market pretty soon. They are pretty sure to have completed the formalities by the second half of 2006. The information was released by a top company executive to the media. Thomas Kastgen, Aston Martin’s CEO for the Middle East said in a statement: “Aston Martin plans to hit the Indian market in the second half of next year. We will reveal our detailed plans by the end of the current year.â€
The famed automobile marquee is most popularly known for their association with the Bond movies. The company has already undertaken feasibility studies on the Indian market and they are collaborating with World Luxury Council, the international arm of the British Luxury Council Limited.
Kastgen added: “We have gotten absolutely positive feedback from the survey and we’re convinced that we want to be part of this growing marketâ€. Aston Martin is primarily owned by the US based Automobile company Ford which is already present in the Indian market with vehicles like Ford Ikon, Ford Fusion and Ford Mondeo. Aston plans to launch their entire range consisting of DB 9, the V8 Vantage, and the Vanquish S V12.
Of course, the Bond cars would come at a cheap priceâ€¦ So, if you are interested, start saving money now to have the ecstasy next year!
