Shutterfly last year acquired Kodak’s Gallery platform for around USD 24 million.
The deal signed between the two companies prohibited Kodak from launching a similar product in the future.
However, Kodak recently launched a Facebook app named My Kodak Moments. The app allow users to select a bunch of photos from their Facebook account for printing as an album.
Shutterfly claims that this app is using the same technology that they paid for and is in violation of their acquisition agreement.
They have filed a lawsuit against Kodak seeking shutdown of this service.
