Microsoft Surface now on sale in 17 new markets through business channels

Microsoft has announced that they are expanding the availability of their Surface and Surface Pro Tablets through business channels in 17 new markets. Most of these are in Europe: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

Microsoft added:

In addition to offering Microsoft’s extended warranty and accidental damage, resellers bring a variety of additional value-added services to the Surface family, such as asset tagging, custom imaging, kitting, onsite service and support, device recycling and data protection. But we’re not stopping here. We’re committed to authorizing a select set of additional partners in these markets in the coming weeks.

The company has already indirectly admitted that Surface has been a massive financial failure for them. Microsoft is also facing a lawsuit that claims that they kept the investors out of loop resulting in financial losses for them.
