Major League Baseball to use YouTube to target international viewers

YouTube has announced a collaboration with Major League Baseball focused on the international markets.

Major League Baseball would be making available tons of video content for international viewers through YouTube.

Users would be able to get access to “highlights of MLB games from this season about a day or two afterwards, tens of thousands of hours of archived games dating back to 1952, clips from Baseballs Best Classics and Best Moments, and more”.

This content would be freely available to all countries except USA, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

In fact, MLB would also offer two live streams for free from the current season.
