LinkedIn is turning all its attention to the user stream in the latest update of their mobile apps for both Google Android and Apple iOS.

The company said:

Today, we’re excited to unveil a brand new mobile phone experience, completely revamped with the general professional and everyday use case in mind. We want to make it easier for our members to quickly discover and engage with the rich professional insights being shared across LinkedIn to help them make smarter decisions from wherever they may be working. We’ve designed the new LinkedIn mobile phone app for every professional, with a richer and more engaging stream and more personalization features.

Changelog:

The app feature a brand new redesign focused on enhancing user interaction.
User stream gets the most attention. Users get to see rich content in their stream containing status updates, news and original content posted by people they follow.
Users get more personalization options in the app.
LinkedIn has also localized the app in many more languages. The app now support 15 different languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, English, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Swedish, Chinese (Traditional, Simplified), Turkish, Dutch and Norwegian.
