Google Chrome automatically shows a translation infobar if it detects a page with content that is not in your native language (set in the browser).

Users can use this bar to get a quick translation of the web page using the Google Translate engine.

But as a web publisher if you do not like this functionality for whatever reason, Google Chrome supports a meta tag that can be added to your web page:

<meta name="google" value="notranslate">

This would disable the automatic display of the translate option. Chrome would however still show the option to translate the web page from the context menu.
